Mama Rosa Restaurant

One night after doing the Art Walk in El Centro, we decided to go to Mama Rosa for some authentic Mexican food. I have been wanting to check out this well known restaurant for quite some time so was happy my amigos agreed to go.

I wasn’t sure what to expect. The atmosphere is friendly and folksy and the place is quite well known for its brunch buffet. I do have some pictures of the buffet from when we checked out the place a couple days before. Also, one of the first things you notice when you walk in is the amazing view. We will definitely come back for lunch.

But because we came in the evening the buffet was not available so we started to peruse through the menu while taking in the scenery. Our waiter was very professional and selected a nice bottle of white to accompany our meals. Before our food came, our waiter also brought us some little appetizers on the house which were excellent. When our meals arrived we were impressed with the food presentation. I ordered the salmon and it was very good.

Overall an excellent experience and we will have to come back and try the brunch buffet, maybe add a margarita or two as well.
